CALVIN E. BEMBRY
Vice President for Talent Acquisition Solutions
C.E. Bembry, on the surface, is an extremely accomplished Corporate Recruiting subject matter expert. Most recently he helped medical device OEM AtriCure almost double the size of the Field Sales Organization.
In April of this year Mr. Bembry left AtriCure to join forces with long-time colleague Dr. William T Lewis. Mr. Bembry serves as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition Solutions for North Carolina based ZeroIN HR Solutions LLC.
Mr. Bembry has been very successful in the execution of global talent acquisition plans, helping companies such as Boston Scientific, PNC Bank, American Senior Communities, Humana, Sorin, Magnetic Instrumentation, BASi, and MAETRICS LLC grow domestically, in Europe, Asia and Mexico.
Mr. Bembry received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1993. It was there, while participating in the social organization “Minorities in Business”, that he developed his passion for creating solutions to recruiting challenges related to diversity within the framework of Corporate America. After graduation, he rose through the ranks as a Corporate Recruiter. In 2002 Mr. Bembry was featured on the front of FAMU Cluster Magazine for his efforts to secure Boston Scientific as a employer of choice on the Tallahassee campus. A few years later he was named Assistant Vice President of HR with PNC Bank in 2005. He then spent the next two years working with current Indiana State University Athletic Director, Sherard Clinkscales to form the After Sport Group LLC.
Mr. Bembry has developed a series targeting those actively playing the corporate ladder game. His workshop entitled…”Career Mapping...The hippest trip of your life” has been lauded by professionals, students and social groups across the Midwest.
Calvin has twice been the keynote speaker for MedTech College Commencement exercise, taught career mapping classes @ Medtech College, Butler University, University of Toledo, University of Louisville, Northern Illinois and IUPUI.
